Arlo offers a number of checkout page options. The Arlo checkout page shares the same theme as the lead forms and both are hosted by Arlo. The default URL of the checkout and lead forms can be changed to a custom URL.
There is a one-off charge for Checkout development work completed by Arlo, to see prices visit our website integration and checkout options on our website pricing page to view prices in your currency.
Note: The options described in this article relate to the style and theme of the checkout page. The fields on the registration form can be managed from within the Arlo management platform.
The Arlo Website Checkout is default checkout for all new Arlo platforms. The Arlo Website checkout shares the same theme as your Arlo Website which can be managed from the Arlo management platform. If you are using the Arlo website you cannot use a different checkout type.
The standard checkout is a blank Arlo hosted page which you can style and add your organization's logo and banner to. This is the default checkout if you are using Web Controls, WordPress plugin, or API integration. Below is an example of a standard checkout. You can edit the checkout directly from within Arlo.
The Branded checkout, utilities our custom checkout functionality. Our web developer will style the header & footer of the checkout to match your current website's header and footer. This provides a more seamless checkout experience, which gives the user the appearance that they're still on your website during the checkout process. All header links and imagery on the Header & Footer checkout will match your website. Below is an example of this checkout option.
Important: Once the Arlo web team have completed developing your Branded checkout, any additional changes made to your website's header and footer are not automatically replicated on the Arlo checkout page. If you inform the Arlo web team, we can update your checkout to reflect any changes made to your website. Additional costs will be associated with updating your checkout's header & footer.
The Legacy checkout was our default checkout option for all Arlo platforms on the legacy starter template which are now deprecated. If you are still using the Arlo Legacy checkout contact the Arlo Support Team to upgrade to the updated Arlo website and Arlo website checkout.
There is only one checkout available per Arlo platform. If you are planning on integrating your Arlo platform between multiple websites please be aware you will be sharing the same checkout.
The checkout contains the following links which can only link to a single URL
- Add Another Course button
- Checkout successful redirect (redirects user automatically once registration process complete)
- Checkout abandon redirect (redirects users that abandon checkout halfway through e.g. click 'cancel')
- Logo redirect link (when logo is clicked)
If you are using Arlo's WordPress plugin, JavaScript web controls, or API (application programming interface) to integrate Arlo into your website, you will need to use the Standard or Custom checkout.
Please contact the Arlo Support Team if you would like to upgrade or change your Arlo checkout option to a Branded or Premium branded checkout, there is a once-off development charge. The development work for a Branded or Premium branded checkout will need to be scheduled in, so if you choose one of these options please allow at least 14 working days.
