Edit an existing venue/room
The following process outlines how to edit existing venue details and venue rooms, for example, the address and location details or the venue booking contact.
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Find and select the venue you would like to edit.
- Press Edit.
- Select the Details tab.
- Make the desired venue changes on the General and Regions tabs.
- Press Save.
- If you need to make any changes to the rooms, select the Rooms tab.
- Complete the desired room changes.
Archiving and deleting venues
If you no longer need to use a venue, you can archive it so that you don't have it appear in your active venues list when creating new events. Archived venues can be restored if you need to use them again in the future. If it was created by mistake, venues can be deleted.

Archive a single venue
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Find and select the venue you would like to archive.
- Press Archive Venue.
Note: You cannot archive a venue which is associated with a current event. An archived venue's details and history is retained. You are able to restore the archived venue at any time - Press Archive Venue.
Bulk archive venues
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Select the venues you want to archive.
- Press Actions and select Archive.
Restore a venue
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Select the Archived Venues view.
- Find and select the venue you would like to restore.
- Click Restore venue.
Bulk restore venues
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Select the Archived list view.
- Select the archived venues you want to restore.
- Press Actions and select Restore.
Delete a venue permanently
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Find and select the venue you would like to delete.
- Press Delete venue.
- Press Delete from the toolbar.
Note: You cannot delete a venue which is associated with any past or current event. You can only archive them once they have existing records. - Press Delete Venue.
Display a venue on your website
You can allow venue details to be displayed on your website so that visitors can see a list of venues you use for your events, as well as specific information related to each one.

Hide a venue's map from the event instructions email and on your website
The following instructions describe how to hide the venue map from being displayed within event instructions emails and on the venue website page.
- Open the Venues and rooms menu.
- Find and select the venue you would like to disable the map for.
- Press Edit.
- Deselect Display map.
- Press Save.
Manage a venue's operating hours and external appointments
You can add venues operating hours and external appointments into Arlo so that you can see if it is available or not using the schedulers to create new events.

Manage catering and room setup
Arlo allows you to manage catering and room setup requirements for your events. You can configure your catering requirements event by event, or save your catering/room setup requirements as a 'preset' so that you can quickly load these the next time you create an event.
You can include specifics regarding catering and room setup and add additional notes/information that the venue booking contact may require.
