The bulk emails setting in a contact allows you to stop all bulk 'marketing' emails from going out to a contact, even if they are still subscribed to your newsletter in Arlo.
By default, bulk emails and bulk post are set to allowed in Arlo. This does not mean your contacts will get your newsletter - they need to subscribe to this first.
If a contact asks you to stop sending them bulk emails:
Note: Contacts do not see the option to disallow bulk emails.
- Open the contact you would like to edit.
- Press Edit in the toolbar.
- Select the Marketing tab from the vertical menu.
- Select Do not allow option in Bulk emails.
- Press Save.
Note: it is not possible for newsletters to be sent if bulk emails are not allowed. If the contact later elects to receive the newsletter, you will need to allow bulk emails in the Management Platform.
