Capture special dietary requirements
Arlo allows you to capture a registrant's specific dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies, etc.
To allow registrants to record their dietary requirements, ensure:
- The Special Diet field is enabled on your management platform.
Note: The Special Diet field is enabled (active) by default. - The Special Diet field has been added to the registration form for the event you want to capture dietary requirements for.
Add the Special Diet field to your website registration form
To capture dietary requirements for registrants, you need to add the Special diet field to the website registration form. Read how to customise your website registration form.
If the Special diet field has been enabled on your platform it will appear as an option when you go to add a field to the form.
The following is a screenshot of the Add Fields window which is displayed when adding fields to a registration form.

Edit a contact's special dietary requirements
You can directly edit a contact's Special diet field on the contact's record itself, or when viewing a registration from the Registration Details window.
Edit from the registration details window
- Open the registration you would like to edit.
- Select the Special diet tab.
- Add or edit the Special diet information.
- Press Save and close. The information will be saved within the contact's personal details.
Edit on a contact
- Open the contact you would like to edit.
- From the toolbar, press Edit.
- Select the Personal tab.
- Add or edit the Special diet information.
- Press Save.

Enable disabilities field
Contact Arlo Support to enable the Disability field.

Edit a contact's disability information
A contact's disability information is stored in the Disability field. You can either edit a contact's Disability field on the contact itself or when viewing a registration from the Registration Details window.
Edit from the registration details
- Open the registration you would like to edit.
- Select the Disability tab.
- Add or edit the Disability information.
- Press Save and close. The information will be saved within the contact's personal details.
Edit from the contact record
- Open the contact you would like to edit.
- From the toolbar, press Edit.
- Select the Personal tab.
- Add or edit the Disability information.
- Press Save.
Report on special requirements
There are some reporting options available when you need more information about the registrant's special requirements.
