Manually add a registrant to a certification workflow
Registrants are usually added to a certification automatically using the workflow set up in the certification template. However, you may need to create certifications manually from time to time. If you're bringing your existing certification details to Arlo from another system, you can also import them in bulk.
The following process describes how to create a certification for an individual contact.
- Open the Certifications menu.
- From the Summary tab, in the Templates section, click New.
- Select the contact you would like to register for the certification.
- Enter the Code, Alternate code, Approval, and Comments as required.
- If you would not like the certification contact to receive a certification registration email, deselect Send certification registration confirmation to contact.
- Press Save.
Approve, renew, or cancel a certification/s
Approve certifications
- Open the Certifications menu.
- Select the Awaiting approval tab (or another tab the certification is in).
- Select the certifications you wish to approve and press Approve.
- Enter the approval details and press Approve Certifications.
Approve and renew certifications
- Open the Certifications menu.
- Select the Expiring or Expired tab.
- Select the certifications you wish to renew and press Renew.
- Enter the renewal details and press Renew Certifications.
Cancel certifications
- Open the Certifications menu.
- Select any tab you wish to cancel certifications from.
- Select the certifications you wish to cancel and press Cancel.

- Enter the cancellation details and press Cancel Certifications.
Edit a contacts certification
You can easily edit certification records within Arlo, such as approving manually or editing dates associated with the certification.
Important: By default, you cannot edit approved certifications. Contact Arlo Support if you would like to change this setting.
- Open the Certifications menu.
- Select the All tab.
- Search for and select the name of the certification contact you wish to edit.
- Press Edit on the certification you wish to edit.
- Edit the details of the certification.
- Press Save changes.
