- Disable a registration rule (platform-wide)
- Delete a registration rule (platform-wide)
- Disable all registration rules (platform-wide)
Edit registration rules
You can edit the rules contained within a registration rule-set at any time.
Behaviour when editing rules
- If you edit a rule at a platform level (any), changes will be applied to all events and templates using the platform-wide rule-set.
- You can't edit rules at an event template or event level, instead, you need to use custom rules or you can disable the rules.
How to edit platform level rules
- Open the Settings menu.
- Select Registration rules.
- Select the rule-set you would like to edit.
- Make the changes to the rule-set as required.
- Press Save.
Disable registration rules on an event
If you have an event/template which you do not want to have any rules enabled for, you can disable them.
Important: If you disable a template's rule, new events created using the event template will not have registration rules enabled. Existing events using the rules will not be changed. These events will need to be disabled individually.
- Open the Events or Templates menu.
- Find and open the event or template you would like to disable registration rules for.
- Press Edit.
- Proceed to the Registrations tab.
- In the Registration rules section, press Edit.
- Turn the Registration rules off.
- Press Save.
- In the event, press Save or Save and close.
Disable a registration rule (platform-wide)
If you have no longer have a need for a certain rule contained in one of your rule-sets you can disable it from your platform. Disabling the rule will turn it off for all events and templates using that rule-set.
Note: Events using custom rule-sets will not be impacted by changes made to platform level rule-sets.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Click Registration rules.
- Click to open the rule set which you would like to disable the rules for.
- Hover over the rules you would like to disable, press More (...) to activate the drop-down and select Disable.
- Press Save.
Delete a registration rule (platform-wide)
Important: Deleting a rule removes the rule entirely from the platform. If you may want to use the rule in the future we recommend disabling it (so that it can be enabled again in the future, rather than having to rebuild the rule).
Note: Events using custom rule-sets will not be impacted by changes made to platform level rule-sets.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Click Registration rules.
- Click to open the rule set which you would like to disable the rules for.
- Hover over the rules you would like to disable, press More (...) to activate the drop-down and select Delete.
- Press Save.
