Arlo now offers a buy now pay later option via Klarna and Afterpay (known as Clearpay in Europe) enabling customers to split purchases into multiple instalments.
Google Pay and Apple Pay are also now supported.
This feature is currently in Beta. If you would like to be a part of our early access beta group, please contact our product team.
Please note: Early access is only available if you are connected to Stripe and have a standard checkout.
From your Stripe homepage, click on Settings:
Click on Payments:
Click Payment methods:
To change the supported payment methods in the Arlo checkout, in the Stripe account under Payment methods in the top drop-down, set it to Arlo default instead of default to see the Arlo supported payment methods available on the checkout.

Under wallets you can turn on Apple pay and Google Pay:
Under Buy now, pay later, you can turn on Klarna and/or Afterpay/Clearpay
Important multi-region restrictions
Afterpay/Clearpay only supports domestic transactions and is restricted to the region of the stripe account.
Your end users will only be able to pay using Afterpay/Clearpay if they are in the region the Stripe account is connected to. This is also affected by the country the registrant enters in the checkout.
For example: If the connected Stripe account is an Australian account, registrants in Australia paying in Australian dollars will be offered Afterpay/Clearpay as a payment method. Registrants who enter other countries or those paying in other currencies will not be offered Afterpay/Clearpay as a payment method.
During the checkout process, you will need to select credit card (online) as the payment method and then press Review & confirm.
Please note: You can change the 'Credit card (online)' label. For instructions on how to do this, please see the setup stripe integration in Arlo article.
This brings up the prompt box below from which you can select the desired payment method and fill in the required sections. After this, you will be redirected to the website of the method selected.
After successfully completing this step, you will be greeted with the final Arlo checkout page which confirms the order.
Please note: If the payment fails, you will be redirected back to the payment screen where you can retry or choose a different payment method.
