The following article explains how to configure your email settings within Arlo.
Arlo allows you to customise the email template design used for your automated communication.
If you wish to customise the wording and text, please send a mockup and the details of the changes you would like to Arlo Support for a quote. Alternatively, you could use special instructions to add additional text to your registrant instructions, reminders, and presenter instructions. Registrant follow-up email text can be fully customised from within Arlo.
- Open the Settings menu item.
- From the Platform setup section, select Email branding settings.
You can add a banner image to be set across the top of your emails. Banner images will be resized to 620 pixels width.
- From the Banner image section, press Select file to upload... A preview of the banner image will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Press Save.
You can edit the title bar of your emails by changing the colours, font, and alignment.
- From the Title bar section, click to change the background or text colour.
- Change the font size, weight, and alignment.
- A preview of the changes will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Press Save.
You can edit the body of your emails by changing the background, text, link, and button colours.
- From the Content area section, click to change each of the different colours.
- A preview of the changes will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Press Save.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Select Email templates and settings.
- Press Revert to default.
Arlo allows you to configure your default email address/sender details for the communication it sends.
Arlo allows you to choose administrators to receive new order notifications for website orders. Administrators or others (e.g. your finance team) can also be BCC'd in all order related communication sent from Arlo.
- Open the Settings menu item.
- From the Financial section, select Orders and invoicing.
- From the Communication section, in Order communication BCC enter the desired email addresses. These will be BCC's in all order communication sent from Arlo.
- In Administrator notifications tick the checkbox for each type of new website order your want notifications sent for.
- Enter the desired email addresses in the field. These will receive a notification whenever a new website order is received.
When an event uses the quick registration method, an order is not created, and therefore no notification will be sent.
- Press Save.
Arlo allows you to BCC administrators into any registration or waiting list emails, or globally for all emails.
In order to set up administrators as a BCC against registration or waiting list emails, or globally for all emails, please contact Arlo Support.
If you would like to disable the event scheduled notifications that are sent to administrators when an event has been approved, please contact Arlo Support.
Arlo allows you to copy in the order contact of an order into all registrant communication that is sent to registrants on their orders.
- Open the Settings menu item.
- From the Financial section, select Orders and invoicing.
- From the Communication section, tick the Send order contact all emails sent to registrants on an order checkbox.
- Press Save.
The following instructions describe how to set default special instructions to be sent to key contacts on private events. Arlo will send these instructions on the key contact confirmation emails.
- Open the Settings menu item.
- From the Courses section, select Courses.
- From the Private courses section, on the Key contact booking confirmation setting, tick Specify default special instructions.
- Enter the default special instructions you would like to include in the key contact confirmation email.
- Press Save. When you next create a private event, the special instructions will be automatically added by default. You can choose to use these default instructions or edit the content before completing the process.
