The following article explains how to mark attendance, record grades, and add comments on registrations using Arlo for Mobile.
Presenters and administrators can record attendance at events using Arlo for Mobile. The attendance details are sent to Arlo immediately. You can record attendance for overall events, and also individual sessions if your events are set up using a multi-session schedule.
The default view for the 'Record attendance' list will display individual sessions, instead of events (if the event is multi-session). This can be changed in the app by going to Settings > Record attendance list settings > Show sessions or events.
- Select Record attendance from the homepage.

- Open the event or session from the list displayed you wish to mark attendance on.
- Select the registrants for the event or session you wish to mark attendance on.
- Select the relevant attendance option.
Arlo displays a count of the number of registrants that have the selected attendance state e.g. the number of registrants marked as 'Unknown' or 'Attended'. Toggle between the main event and event sessions so that you can view and mark attendance for all of your sessions/main event separately if needed.

- If you make a mistake marking attendance you can clear attendance.
- Open the event or session you would like to clear attendance on.
- Tap the vertical menu icon and select the view containing the registrations, e.g. All.

- Select the registrants you wish to make changes to.

- Tap the vertical menu icon and select Clear attendance and outcome.
If you are recording attendance on individual sessions, you will need to do this for each session.
Presenters and administrators can records comments against individual registration records which can be viewed within the mobile app and the Arlo management platform.
- Open the event or session which contains the registrant you wish to update.
- Select View registrants to bring up a list of all registrants.

Add a comment to an individual registration
- Select the registrant whose contact details you are updating. This will bring up their individual registration details

- Select the vertical menu icon to bring up the options for the registrant, and select Add a comment.

- Enter a comment for an Arlo administrator to see.
You can post more than one comment for a registrant. Additional comments are appended underneath existing comments.

Add a comment to multiple registrations
- From the registrations list, open the Record attendance view.

- Select the registrations you would like to add a comment to.

- Click the vertical menu icon and select Add a comment.

- Enter a comment for an Arlo administrator to see.
You can post more than one comment for a registrant. Additional comments are appended underneath existing comments.
- Comments will be added to the registration record in the Arlo management platform.

- Existing comments made by administrators and presenters are visible in the mobile app within the registrant details in the Record Attendance list, Registrants list and Contacts registration page.

Presenters and administrators can record a grade against individual registration records which can be viewed within the mobile app and the Arlo management platform.
Grades can only be marked on the overall event, you cannot allocate a grade to an individual session.
- Open the event you wish to record a grade on.

- Select View registrants to bring up a list of all registrants.
- Select the registrant whose contact details you are updating. This will bring up their individual registration details.

- Select the vertical menu icon to bring up the options for the registrant, and select Record grade.

- Enter the grade information and press Record grade.
- Open the event you wish to record a grade on.

- Select View registrants to bring up a list of all registrants.
- From the registrations list, open the Record attendance view.

- Select the registrants you would like to record a grade for.

- Click the vertical menu icon and select Record grade.

- Enter the grade information and press Record grade.
