Arlo offers a powerful application process feature that allows you to review applications before accepting registrants for your courses. Registrants must apply to attend a course, and received applications can be reviewed by an administrator at any time. If approved, a place on the course is made available for the applicant to take, and pay for if needed.
There are two types of application workflows; team and individual applications, and you can select for each course which you want to accept. The individual application process allows individual people to apply for a course with individual billing. The team application process allows a primary applicant to submit an application for themselves and others to a single course, with a group order for all registrants.
You can customise the application forms and store multiple application templates that can be quickly assigned to courses. You can also report on applicants using the Registration application report.
Examples of when using the application process may be suitable for your courses:
- Funded Courses - May require specific criteria to be met e.g. income, age, nationality etc.
- Courses with Prerequisites - May require applicants to have certain qualifications or experience.
- Focused Courses - May require applicants to fit a specific profile e.g. personality based approval.
- Limited Places - Courses that may require applications be reviewed (e.g. review panel) before a spot is provided.
The applications process only applies to courses, and not Elearning activities.
