The website pages that you can utilise with Arlo (irregardless of which website integration method you decide to go with), have been designed to display course data in a particular manner and style. You can find the characteristics of each page below. For technical information, visit developer.arlo.co.
Once a course is selected from one of your website’s list pages, your site visitors are directed to the course template page. The course template page displays all current instances of the course, no matter the delivery method they are using, alongside all of the information about the course. Relevant information about the template and course instances is pulled from a variety of areas in the platform (such as the website content sections and discounts) in order to keep your site visitors updated with the latest schedule, pricing, and content for those courses.
You can also use any of the variations below as a dates only control (to pull through courses only and no other course content). The dates only control is useful if you would like to retain management of your courses pages outside of Arlo.
Filter options available: Delivery method, location
The Upcoming List page promotes courses and webinars that are scheduled in date order. When you schedule a new course, it instantly appears in the list and when details change, such as the location or date, Arlo automatically updates your website. If a course becomes full, people can opt to go on the waiting list, in case a place becomes available. The wide range of filters on this page make this an easy page for your site visitors to use to find the perfect course for them.
Filter options available: Category, keyword search, month, delivery methods, location, tags, region selector
The Catalogue page lists all of your course templates grouped by category, allowing site visitors to easily navigate to the topic area in which they are interested. You can set up just a small number of categories for a simple site, or a multi-level catalog if you run 100’s of courses. As this page displays all course templates, you can promote all courses, even those without any scheduled instances, allowing you to also take advantage of Arlo’s powerful lead generation functionality to capture interest on courses with no available scheduled dates.
Filter options available: Category, month, location, tags, region selector
The Schedule page shares the same behaviour as the Catalogue page, however the Schedule page is presented in list format. Providing your site visitors with a short overview of each course and listing the next available dates, the Schedule page is perfect for promoting courses when you have a large number of templates. As with the Catalogue page, the Schedule page can also be used to capture interest for unscheduled courses.
Filter options available: Location, delivery method, category
The Elearning List page is used to display all of your self-paced courses (i.e. those with no start or end date), making it perfect if you have a library of online learning. As elearning does not require a start or end date, Arlo’s elearning feature and this page can also be used to sell memberships and products.
Filter options available: Category, keyword search, tags
The Index page is one of the most powerful controls available, displaying your course templates in alphabetical order with a wide range of filter options available. Unlike the Catalogue and Schedule pages, the index control has access to course level filters and tags, giving your site visitors the ability to find what they want quickly and easily.
Filter options available: Category, keyword search, month, delivery type, location, presenter, tags
The calendar page allows your site visitors to see which courses are running during a particular month, week, or specific day. They can search the course name to view when their selected course is running and filter by location so only dates running near them are visible.
Filter options available: Category, keyword search, day/week/month, presenter, location, tags, venue
The Search page allows your site visitors to search for courses throughout your site using keywords or course names. The displayed search results, which include the next available dates of courses, are able to be filtered by location and category, making it easy for your visitors to find what they need.
Filter options available: Category, location.
With the functionality of four pages in one, the All-In-One page is a full solution for displaying upcoming courses. Working as a course list page, template page, venue profile page and presenter profile page, the All-In-One page has a more information button which expands so your site visitors can view all of a course’s information on a single page.

Similar to the Presenter List page, the Venue List page shows a summary list of all of your venues on one page, making it easy for your site visitors to choose the venue closest to them.
The private course template page shares the same styling as your Arlo checkout and is only required if you are using Arlo’s private courses functionality. e.g. If you have selected a skinned checkout, the private courses page header and footer will display the same styling. The same course information as your public courses will be displayed on this page however the styling and layout of the course information will be different. The Arlo web team will style your private course page information to match your website as much as possible, however the layout will be different.
