Course bundles allow you to package multiple course templates together and sell them as a single product. This article explains how Course Bundles work and the key features available to administrators and learners.
- Click on Bundles, under the Marketing menu item.
- Select New Bundle.
- Bundle creation is organised into three sections:
- General: Configure bundle details, included course templates, and pricing.
- Website: Configure website visibility and content.
- Registrations: Configure the registration method and registration form.
The General section is used to define the bundle and select the course templates to include.
- Enter the Name of the bundle and the Bundle code.
Tip: Once you've entered a bundle name and code, you can select Create as draft at any time to save the bundle as a draft and return to it later.
- Select Manage bundle items.
- Search for and select the course templates you want to include in the bundle.
- If you select the wrong template, you can remove the template by either deselecting the checkbox from the list or pressing X against the selected template.
A bundle can contain up to 10 course templates.
- Select Save changes.
After adding templates, drag and drop them into the required order which you would like them to appear on the bundle page on your website and in the checkout.
Do note that private courses and any courses that are hidden from the website will not be available for selection in the checkout as part of a bundle.
- If you would like the bundle price to be less than the original price, update the Bundle price for each of the items.
- If you'd like learners to see the original course price alongside the bundle price, leave Show original price to registrants selected.
Each bundle has its own webpage where learners can view bundle information, included courses, and available course dates.
- Select whether the bundle should be Published or Unpublished.
We recommend keeping the bundle unpublished until all required information has been added.
- Enter the Summary and Description for the website page content.
- Upload a Hero image and List image, if required.
The Registrations section determines how registrations are processed and which information is collected from learners.
- Select the Registration method for the bundle:
- Order: Creates an order during registration.
- Registration only: Creates a registration without creating an order.
- Select the Edit link to set up the Registration form.
- At a minimum, the registration form must include the Name and Email fields.
Important: Bundle registrations use a single registration form for all courses included in the bundle. This means learners only need to enter their details once.
Because the bundle registration form replaces the individual course registration forms, it should contain all fields required for every course in the bundle, including any custom fields.
Bundle registration forms support:
- Registration fields,
- Contact fields, and
- Custom fields for the above record types
- Once you've completed all the sections, select Create as draft to save it as draft or Create and approve to approve the bundle.
- The newly created bundle will appear in the relevant view view.
