The following article shows how to search, filter, view, export, and report on your leads in Arlo.
The following are some tips and tricks to finding relevant leads in Arlo.
View by status
- Open the Leads menu.
- Select the status you want to view from the sidebar.
Text filters
- Enter a term into the search box.
You can search for a contact name, email address, or topic.
Search suggestions
- Refine your search by selecting one of the search filters (Topic, Organisation, Key Contact).
List filters
- In the search bar, click the drop-down arrow to display available list filters.
Arlo allows you to see all open leads as you set up new courses; so that you can easily gauge demand for the course. We recommend regularly updating your leads to ensure that only relevant leads remain open in the leads list for each of your courses. For example, you can set up a new course and see a list of all prospects who have open leads (if they have expressed interest in the particular course).
- Open the Course or Templates menu.
- Select the Leads tab.
- All open leads for the course or course template will be displayed. You can also filter to view closed leads for a course.
- You can complete specific actions against the leads in this list by selecting the leads in the list and pressing Actions.
Leads are shown against contacts and organisations so that when your sales staff are following up with them, they can instantly see what they have expressed interest in and check for upcoming dates they may wish to register for.
- Select the organisation or contact.
An overview of the Leads will also be displayed on the main contact page.
- Select the Leads tab.
- All open leads for the event or event template will be displayed. You can also filter to view closed leads for an event.
- You can complete specific actions against the leads in this list by selecting the leads in the list and pressing Actions.
The Leads List report gives you a list of all leads that you can filter by date, status, type, or other criteria. You can choose which details to include in the report.
For example, you may want a list of all leads marked as lost within the last year, including the organisation and the value.
The lead list report does not include custom fields. You will need to export the leads instead.

The Account Manager Activity report gives you the leads associated with an account manager, within a period of time.
For example, you may want to see how many leads an account manager (admin within Arlo) has created within the last year.

The following process describes how to export your lead records to a spreadsheet (CSV format) including custom fields.
- Open the Leads menu.
- Pick the leads you want to export by selecting a view from the left of the screen, a status from the top of the screen, or use the filters button to filter the leads list on more options.
- Press the Export drop-down and select the relevant export.
Only the general lead export contains custom lead fields.
