In Arlo, you have control over the management of your course templates. This enables you to edit template information, export template information, archive unused templates, and more quickly and easily.
Once you have opened a template's record, the template's key information is shown on the left side of the template's home page. This information includes:
- Template and course navigation: Enables you to easily navigate between the template, scheduled courses, and the elearning module that share the template.
- Schedule another: Enables you to easily schedule another course using the same template.
- Presenters: Shows a list of presenters associated with scheduled courses under that template.
- Website: Contains a link to the template's webpage.
- Price: Shows the default template price.
The following instructions outline how to access and view a course template's key information.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Find and select the template you would like to view.
- You will be taken to the template's home page, where you can view the template's key information.
The following process describes how to edit a course template.
Some settings are shared across all courses using the template.

- Open the Templates menu item.
- Find and select the template you would like to edit.
- Press Edit.
- Navigate to the appropriate tab for the settings you need to make changes to. For example, for changes to the template price, select the General tab.
- Make the required changes.
If you change the default template price, scheduled course prices will not be changed.

- Press Save or Save and close.
The following instructions describe how to add a course template to your website course catalogue. Any courses schedule on a template share the same categories as the template.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Find and select the template you would like to add to a category.
- Press Edit.
- Select the Website tab.
- From the Website page content section, click Select categories.
- Tick the categories that you would like the course template to be listed within.
- Press Select categories.
- Press Save or Save and close.
The following process describes how to export course templates to a spreadsheet (CSV format).
You can also export data using Arlo reports.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- If you would like to filter the list of templates, press the filter arrow and select the filter you need.
- Press the export arrow and select the export option you need.
The following instructions describe how to easily identify course templates that have no scheduled dates or published elearning modules so you can remove them from the website.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Press the filter arrow and select Published on website and No scheduled and no published elearning.
- Select the templates you wish to remove, or click Select all.
- Press Actions and select Remove from website.
When a template is archived it will not appear in search results in the platform nor in the template list (unless you select either the Archived or All view).
Also, when archived, you are not able to include the template in report filters.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Select the Template(s) from the list that you would like to archive.
- Press Actions and select Archive template.
You will not be able to archive a template if there is one or more currently scheduled courses associated with that template.
- To confirm, press Archive.
The following article outlines how to restore an archived course template.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Select the Archived view.
- Use the search above the list to quickly find the template you would like to restore.
- Open the template you would like to restore.
- Click Restore template.
Tags are keywords or terms that help you describe and categorise templates, courses, and sessions.
For example, you can tag your top 10 courses with the term Top 10, or new courses with the word New.
Tags can also be used to; apply discounts to courses and elearning modules, manage website lists (such as the list displayed on the Find a course page), and manage workflows in Zapier.
