The following article explains how to search for a specific event or event template using filters, views, tags, and search suggestions in your event lists.

Manage event/template views
- Open the All events or Templates menu.
- Click More and then Manage views.
- Select the views you would like to be available.
- Press Display views.
Search for an event
- Open the Events menu.
- Click one of the list views to narrow your search. Learn how to enable additional views.
- Enter a search term into the search box and press Enter.
Search suggestions
- As you enter your search, search suggestions will be displayed in the menu (including tags). Click the suggestion to be taken directly to the event/list of tagged events.
Search filters
- You can refine your search by selecting one of the search filters (Name, Code, Presenter, Manager, City, Provider, State or Location). Your search will then be narrowed to only include matches on the search filter field.
List filters
- You can narrow your search results by applying a list filter.
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the search box to display the available list filters.
- Open the Templates menu.
- Click one of the list views to narrow your search. Learn how to enable additional views.
- Enter a search term into the search box and press Enter.
Search suggestions
- As you enter your search, search suggestions will be displayed in the menu (including tags). Click the suggestion to be taken directly to the template/list of tagged templates.
- You can refine your search by selecting one of the search filters (Manager). Your search will then be narrowed to only include matches on the search filter field.
- You can narrow your search results by applying a list filter.
- Press the filter arrow to the right of the search box to display the available list filters.
- View a list event templates which are not associated with a website category, so you can categorize them appropriately.
- View a list of published event templates which have no scheduled events so you can remove them from your website.
Filter events managed by me
- You can narrow your search results to events you are the event manager of by applying a list filter.
- Press the filter arrow and from the Management section, select Managed by me.
- You can also use this filter on your dashboard.
Search for an event session
If you are running events with multiple sessions, you can view individual sessions in your event list.
- Open the Events menu.
- Select the Sessions view.
Note: You may need to enable this view.
- Open the Events menu.
- Open the event using the template you are looking for.
- From the event date drop-down select Template.
Event and session tags
Event tags are keywords or terms that help you describe and categorise events. For example, you can tag your top 10 events with the term "Top 10", new events with the word "New".
You can generate lists of events with specific tags and they can also be used to manage your website lists, such as the list displayed on the "Find an event" page.

Private events
View private events
- From the Events menu, select Private.
- To narrow your search:
- Select the required view.
- OR use the list filter.
- Select the required view.
Open a private event for an organisation
- Open the Organisations menu.
- Open the organisation you are running the event for. Private events will be listed on the Home tab.
- Select the Events tab for a more detailed list of the private events.
Export event/event template information
The following process describes how to export your event details to a spreadsheet (CSV format).
Note: You can also export data using Arlo reports.
- Open the All events or Templates menu.
- If you would like to filter the list of events, Select filters and choose the filter you would like to apply.
- Select Export and choose the type of export you would like to perform.
View cancelled events
- Open the Events menu.
- Select All.
- Press the filters menu, and select Cancelled. All cancelled events will be displayed.
