View a presenter's availability when scheduling a course

In order to assist you to find a presenter to host the course you are scheduling, the presenter search tool has a number of helpful areas of information.

• The search bar enables you to complete a general search for a presenter based on either their name, organisation, or city. It also includes a filter for both city and tags, enabling your to utilise the tag function to separate presenters into areas of expertise.

• The Previous session column includes information about the course the presenter is scheduled to deliver prior to the one you are creating. This feature is especially helpful if you run courses which do not last a whole day as it gives you the opportunity to check that there is enough time for the presenter to get from their previous course to the current one.

• The Next session column, similarly to the previous session column, includes information about the course the presenter is scheduled to deliver after the one you are creating.

• The Appointment conflict column includes information about any appointments they have that conflict with the current course.

• The Availability column indicates whether each presenter is available to deliver the course your are scheduling.

• Open the Courses menu.

• Press New course and start creating your selected course type or edit an existing course.

• Navigate to the General step and, if required, enter the start and end date and time of the course.

• In the Presenters and support staff section, click Search...

• Once you have found the presenter(s) you are looking for, tick the presenter and press Select to add them to the course.

• Arlo checks if that presenter is available and displays a Schedule conflict warning message if there is conflict in Arlo. You can press the warning to review the conflict.
