Registration limits and alerts overview
Arlo allows you to set registration limits on your events and receive alerts when the maximum limit is reached or the minimum limit is not met. If you have an event where registrants have a choice of multiple sessions, you can also set a maximum limit on individual sessions.
When the maximum limit is reached, customers will not be able to register for the event on the website. Also, see managing waiting lists.
Important: Admin will still be able to register and transfer contacts to a full event within the management platform. Events, where the minimum limit has not been reached, will not be automatically cancelled.

Set minimum and maximum limits for an event
Arlo can send an alert to an administrator or administrators when an event's maximum registration limit is met.
- Open the Events menu.
- Create your new event or find an select your existing event to edit.
- Navigate to the Registrations tab.
- From the Registration limits section, if you need to have a minimum limit, enter this.
- If you would like a notification to be sent if this is not reached, click Send alert when minimum not met.
- Enter the number of days before the event starts the alert should be sent, and who it should be sent to.
Note: Do not enter the email address. Start typing the name of the administrator and this will auto-fill from your list of administrators in Arlo.
- Press Create Alert.
- If you need to have a maximum registation limit, enter this. Note: If you have a maximum limit enabled, the waiting list feature will be enabled automatically (unless disabled).
- If you would like a notification to be sent when this is reached, click Send alert when maximum reached.
- Select who it should be sent to.
- Press Create Alert.
- Complete the other steps in the event wizard as required.
- Continue with creating the event or, if editing the event, press Save or Save and close.
Set a maximum limit for individual sessions of a multi-session event
The following instructions describe how to add a maximum registration limit to sessions of a multi-session event. Alerts are not sent for session limits.
- Open the Events menu.
- Create your new event or find an select your existing event to edit.
- Press Edit.
- Navigate to the Schedule tab.
- In the list of sessions, click Edit next to the session for which you want to change the registration limit.
- From the Registrations section, enter the maximum registration limit.
- Press Save session.
- Edit the remaining sessions as required, following the above steps.
- Press Save and close.
