The following article explains how to use the batch action feature to update communication details for existing templates and courses.
To update the default communication details to be used for any new templates, see this article instead.
Sender details are unable to be customised at template or course level on multi-region platforms.
Update communications details for a single event
- Open the Courses menu item.
- Find and select the course you would like to edit communication settings for.
- Press Edit.
- Select the Communication tab.
- From the Sender details section, click Edit.
- Change the email settings as required.
- Tick Save as template defaults to save the new settings as the default for future courses that use the same template.
- Press Save and close.
Update communication details for multiple courses
- Open the Courses menu item.
- Select the courses which you would like to update the communication details for.
You can select all courses in a single action by pressing Select All
- Press Actions, and select Modify sender details. The Modify course sender details slider will open.
- For each of the fields that need to be updated, press Modify, and enter the new details into each field.
- Press Modify. The Modify sender details pop-up box will confirm which of the changes have been processed.
Update communication details for course templates and associated courses
If you need to update the communication details for templates and their associated courses you can do this using a batch action from the templates list.
- Open the Templates menu item.
- Select the templates which you would like to update the communication details for.
- Press Actions, and select Modify sender details. The Modify template sender details slider will open.
- For each of the fields that needs to be updated, press Modify.
- Enter the new details into each field. To update the communications details of the templates' existing courses in addition to the templates' details, tick Apply to existing courses and elearning.
- Press Modify. The Modify sender details pop-up box will confirm which of the changes have been processed.
