Introducing the All-New Arlo Checkout (beta) - We’ve completely redesigned the checkout to offer greater control, flexibility, and a more intuitive, customisable experience.
With a fresh new look, the updated checkout now includes Buy Now, Pay Later as standard, giving your customers more choice.
The streamlined process features fewer steps, helping boost conversion by making purchases faster and easier.
Built around your feedback, this update brings more flexibility, expanded customisation, and many features based on top requests.
You can now tailor the entire checkout to your brand: from colours and fonts to button styles and field labels. Flexible cart settings, custom messages, and advanced redirect and confirmation options ensure a seamless, branded journey.
Follow the steps below to configure, customise, and activate your new checkout.
Go to Settings, then Website integration & checkout

Then, under Registration pages and checkout, press Configure next to Standard.

The colour scheme is fully customisable, giving you the flexibility to align the look and feel of your interface with your brand guidelines. You can personalise key elements such as button states, text, hyperlinks, and content areas to ensure a consistent and accessible user experience across your platform.

You have the flexibility to customise the fonts used across your platform to suit your brand’s tone and style. Simply navigate to the Text style section, where you can select your preferred font for both content and buttons from a convenient drop-down list. This allows for a consistent and professional look throughout the user experience.

You can adjust your buttons to be more rounded to better suit your website's styling.

Example below shows more rounded buttons when the radius has been adjusted:

Select the option for the default payer (who usually pays for the attendee(s). This option allows the user to choose who the payer is, but defaults to one individual or organisation.

You can easily manage the visibility and naming of the discount code field at checkout. Whether you want to enable promotional offers or tailor the field label to fit your branding, these settings give you full control. Simply toggle the discount code option on or off, and rename the field as needed to enhance your customers’ checkout experience.
Enable or disable the discount code field on your checkout.
- If disabled, to enable the discount code field, toggle the Discount code On.

- To disable the discount code field, toggle the Discount code Off.

Enable or disable the reference (Purchase order) field.
- If disabled, to enable the reference field, toggle Reference On.

- To disable the reference field, toggle Reference Off.

- To make the reference (Purchase order) field mandatory, select Required.

You can now customise the Registration and Billing page labels to further match the tone and style of your website. i.e., changing the Billing label to Order page.


Enhance the checkout experience by enabling the ‘Add attendee’ button, allowing users to register multiple attendees for a course. You can choose to turn this feature on or off as needed. Additionally, the button label is fully customisable, simply amend the text to suit your preferred wording or tone of voice.
If you would like the option to add other attendees to a course in the checkout, toggle it On.

The ‘Continue shopping’ button can be enabled or disabled depending on your preferences. When switched on, it allows users to return and browse more items or courses during checkout. You can easily update the button label text to suit your branding, and even define a custom URL to control where users are directed when they click it. Another new feature is that when more courses are added, the registrants' details are pre-populated, thus saving them time.
You can turn on the ‘Continue shopping ‘ button by toggling On.

To turn off, toggle Off.

To change the label of the field, just change the text in the Button text field.



You can also customise where they’re taken by adding the URL for the button in the field

You can now add custom instructions to the checkout.
To turn on, toggle On.

To turn off, toggle Off.

You now also have full control over redirects, confirmation messages, and error messages – so the experience stays seamless from start to finish.
Redirect on the success page
Select On to turn on and press Save.

Select Off to turn off and press Save.

Then add the redirect URL.

Confirmation messages
You can customise the confirmation messages for both Order process (paid) orders and Quick registration (free) orders.

You can customise the error message when for example a payment declines in the Payment failed box.

With the new checkout, customers now have the option to pay using Buy Now, Pay Later – offering greater flexibility at the point of purchase. By giving customers more choice in how and when they pay, you can reduce friction and increase the likelihood of completed transactions – helping to improve conversion rates.
