The following article outlines how to change your course template and scheduled course's website display settings and shows you what each setting enables you to do.
Depending on your website integration method, not all of these options are available or produced with the same settings. If you are having difficulty with achieving the desired settings, please contact Arlo support with the details of the course and what you are trying to achieve.
- Open the Courses menu item.

- Find and select the course you would like to change the website display options for.
- From the toolbar, press Website.

The following settings must be selected for your courses to show on your website using our API, e.g. our WordPress plugin. When you set up a new public course, these will be the default settings.
- Tick all options.

- Ensure that the course has a category assigned (to show it in the catalogue).
Arlo allows you to set a specific time frame that the course date is available on your website.

Manage a course for a private audience, where payment is taken per registration (i.e. the registrant pays for their own attendance). If your registrants do not need to pay for their own booking (e.g. an in-house course), you should use private courses instead.
Depending on your website integration method, this option may not be available. For example, the WordPress website integration uses the Promote course in website lists function to display course dates on a course template page, meaning you can't hide one course from your upcoming list page without hiding all of the template's courses on the course page.
- Untick Promote Course in website.

The following instructions outline how to display a course template page only, with no scheduled course dates. This is useful if you want to accept leads for your courses.
When a template has no scheduled courses left, these settings will be applied to the template by default.
- Tick Display course template on website and untick all other options.

- Untick all options.
Nobody will be able to access the course unless you send them a registration link.

By default, Arlo's website integrations create webpages to host a course's template information, along with any associated courses schedule information (such as date and time). However, you may choose to manage the course template information manually on website pages, and only display the schedule information and a registration control from Arlo for each course. The instructions below explain how to set the URL for each template so the course schedule information is displayed on the correct pages.
You will need to use the course dates list with register buttons JavaScript control on your course page if you wish to take registrations via Arlo when using this website display method.
- Open the Courses menu item.

- Press New course.

- Navigate to the Website step.
- In the Website page section, for the Page hosting option, click Edit.
If you are creating a course on an existing template, you may need to press Edit shared settings (in the blue message at the top of the page) to access the Edit option for this field.

- Select Custom hosting and enter the URL of the website page for the course.

- Complete the course set up process.
