Arlo supports running multiple regions (countries) within a single platform, including support for multiple time zones, tax rates, currencies, and company details.
The region selector on the management platform allows you to filter content in the platform. For example, when you select a specific region/country only events running in that region will be displayed.
Content on your website will also be filtered by region/country. When someone visits your website the system will automatically determine where in the world they are visiting the site from (which country) and then display the content accordingly. Arlo will do this by redirecting the user to a specific regional URL.
For example, if I am visiting your site from Australia and enter the address (http://<yoursite>) then I will be automatically redirect to the Australian site (http://<yoursite/au). Other regions might be United Kingdom (http://<yoursite>/uk) and America ((http://<yoursite>/us).
Users can change the default region by selecting a different region from the region/country selector usually located at the bottom of the site. For example;
Set up multiple price points, potentially with a separate price for each region in the respective currency, with the local tax label (GST, VAT..) and tax rate.
Select which region to display the event template in.
Where required, also specify the region at the individual event level or let the system work this out automatically (based on the location of the event venue).
Orders include regional settings such as currency, tax label, and tax rate. Invoices can also be customised for each region including the invoice address and contact details.
