After the plugin installation, you will be connected to our sample Arlo platform (websitetestdata) which is full of rich event data, so that you can test the WordPress plugin fully.
The following instructions outline how to replace the connection with your own Arlo platform.
- Log into your WordPress dashboard.
- Select Arlo Settings.
- Select the General tab.
- Remove 'Websitetestdata' and add your own Arlo platform name.
Your Arlo platform name can be found in your Arlo management platform URL, e.g <platformName>.arlo.co
- Select whether you want your events prices shown including or excluding tax on your website pages and the 'Free' text to be displayed when an event has no price e.g. complementary, no text.
- Set your 'No event to show' text e.g. when there are no events available what should the message display and your 'No events on a template' text when there are no scheduled events showing on an event template page for accepting leads.
- Press Save Changes.
- Update your Arlo platform to reflect that is is now linked to WordPress.
You may find that data from Arlo is not instantly updated on your WordPress plugin/website. This is because the website will only check for new information every 30-75 minutes. - Log into your WordPress dashboard.
- Select Arlo Settings.
- Select the General tab.
- Click Synchronise now. Important: If you are updating any other Arlo for WordPress plugin settings prior to manually re-synchronizing the plugin, please save the settings before completing the manual re-sync.
