The following article describes how to set the general settings, including fonts, colours, and images, for your Arlo website (template option).
Important: Whenever making any changes to your general settings, ensure that you press Save changes when you are done.
- Open the Settings menu.
- From the Website section, select Arlo Website.
- Select the General tab.
Note: If your website settings page does not look like this, your platform is not using the Arlo website option. Find out which website option you are using.
- Follow the relevant instructions below to make the required changes.
- From the General colour scheme section, click on the colour(s) you wish to change.
- Choose a colour or enter the colour code you wish to use.
- Use the preview to ensure you are happy with the colour chosen.
- Press Save changes.
- From the Text style section, click on the font(s) that you wish to edit.
- Choose a font from the drop-down.
- Use the preview to ensure you are happy with the fonts chosen.
- Press Save changes.
- In the Price settings section, to show the price for private events, deselect Hide price for private events.
Note: By default, prices for private events are hidden.
- To display prices as exclusive of tax, from Display website prices, click Edit.
Note: By default, prices are displayed on the website including tax.
- Select Excluding tax from the drop-down.
- Press Save changes.
- In the Places left section, tick the Display places remaining setting to display on the website how many places are left on an event.
- Select how many places should be left when the warning is displayed.
Note: This setting triggers the event to display a Limited places warning provided:
- The setting of Display places remaining is ticked.
- The event has a max limit set on it.
Example: An event which doesn't meet both of the criteria above does not display limited places warning.
Example: An event with this setting enabled and a max limit set on it.
Example: Pressing the Limited places warning, provides the user with the number of places left on the event.
- In the Leads section, tick the Enable enquire form to enable users to submit a general enquiry.
Example: This appears at the top of the site
- You can customise the text for this enquiry button by editing the Button label text.
Example: the button label text after being customised.
- In the Event settings section, tick Enable similar events to activate this feature.
Note: this feature uses your website categories to display other 'similar' events in the same category.
Example: a list of similar events will be displayed at the bottom of each event template page
- Choose the event terminology to be used across your website.
