- PHP version - WordPress PHP version must be 7.4 or higher.
- WordPress version - WordPress version must be 7.0 or higher.
- Shared Server Hosting - Slow shared server hosting can cause issues with the data import. If you have shared server hosting please ensure you Set Up a Cron Job.
- WordPress version - Your WordPress should be kept updated to the latest version available.
- Single WordPress site - WordPress Multi-site configuration is not supported with our plugin.
- Cache plugins - Caching plugins can interfere with the Arlo WordPress plugin. Once changes have been made to the Arlo plugin, ensure you clear or reset your caching plugins if you have them.
- Server Memory limit expected 64M or higher
- Server Max execution time 30 seconds or more
- Server must have cUrl enabled
- Server must have mCrypt enabled
- Server must have RIJNDAEL 128 available
- Server must have CBC mode available
- Server must have SHA512 available
- Google Maps API key for maps on venue profile pages (You need to enable the Google Static Maps API for the project).
It is important to back up your WordPress site before updating WordPress and the Arlo plugin.
In the rare case that something goes wrong during the installation or update of the plugin, this backup will give you the ability to restore your website.
To meet the requirements of the Arlo plugin, your WordPress site must be up to date. In some cases, you will not be able to install the Arlo plugin without updating your WordPress environment.
Updating WordPress affects all files and folders in the main WordPress installation, any modifications you have made to the core files will be lost. Because of this, you should create a back up your site before proceeding.
Before proceeding, back up your website and confirm that you meet the minimum requirements.
- Log in to your WordPress CMS and navigate to the Plugins page (wp-admin/plugins.php).
- Search for Arlo Training Management Software in the search bar.
- Click Install Now.
- Find the Arlo plugin in the official WordPress plugin directory and follow the steps to complete the installation.
- Contact Arlo Support who will provide you access to the plugin Zip folder.
- Log in to your WordPress CMS and navigate to the Plugins page (wp-admin/plugins.php).
- Select Add Plugin.
- Select Upload Plugin.
- Select Choose file and locate the Arlo Training Management Software plugin zip file on your computer.
- Once uploaded, click Install Now.
