Arlo's integration with Zapier allows you to seamlessly connect with 1000's of external applications.
Using Zapier, you can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration.
Zapier is an online automation tool that can connect Arlo with your favorite apps, such as Outlook, Gmail, Mailchimp, and more. Users can select Triggers and Actions to decide the exact task they would like to automate.
We've developed our own Arlo Triggers, which you can use to start passing data and automating tasks in external systems.
When an event occurs in Arlo (such as a contact being created) the trigger will fire and feed in a detailed set of information to Zapier. If the information meets predefined criteria set by you, it can then complete an action.
- When a new contact is created in Arlo, create it in an external CRM, such as Zoho
- When a contact subscribes/unsubscribes to a newsletter topic, repeat the action in an external marketing tool, such as Mailchimp
- When a contact registers for a certain course, send a reminder text message to them at a later date
- When a new course is created, send an appointment to an Outlook or Google calendar
Triggers are used to start the process of automating a task or data feed into another system (an action).
The current triggers we have available for events that occur in Arlo:
- New contact created
- Updated contact
- New course created
- Updated course
- New registration created
- Updated registration
We're working to add new triggers to provide as much flexibility as possible and hope to have additional triggers for orders, leads, and sessions in the near future.
There is no cost to use Arlo's triggers in Zapier, but we recommend that you have at least a Starter Zapier plan. Zapier pricing is primarily based on the number of tasks you would like automated each month. If you process a large number of monthly registrations and want to trigger tasks off each one you may require a higher plan. See Zapiers pricing page for more information.
When connecting Arlo to Zapier the admin account you use must have access to the API. Learn how to Manage your users' access
We are working on a library of pre-built Zaps, which we plan to make available on the Zapier marketplace in the future.
For now, you can follow the documentation below to build some of our most popular Zap requests yourself. If you have experience using Zapier, you can also build connections to the 1000's of other applications available.
If you can't see what you are looking for, and aren't comfortable using Zapier, our Support Team can also help you get started. Learn more information about Zapier Services.
Keep your team up to date with your training schedule by adding new events to a calendar. Google Calendar can support updating and deleting events too and works with shared calendars so it's easy to keep everyone informed.
