Arlo has a powerful discounts feature that allows you to add multiple price points to your courses.
The following article explains how to manage existing discounts in Arlo.
You are able to edit an existing discount in Arlo, enabling you to change any of the settings as required (e.g. increase the amount of time a discount is available). Editing a discount will only apply the updated settings to orders created after the change is saved (i.e. changes will not be applied retroactively to orders).
- Open the Discounts menu item.
- Select the discount you would like to edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Press Save.
Archiving a discount will stop the discount from being applied to new orders.
By archiving a discount, you can restore the discount, with its original settings, at a later date if required.
- Open the Discounts menu item.
- Select the discount you would like to archive.
- From the Actions box, press Archive.
- The discount will be removed from the website pricing (momentarily, depending on your website integration) and will no longer be applied to any orders created in the future.
You can restore an archived discount so that it may be used again for future created orders.
- Open the Discounts menu item.
- Open the Archived view.
- Open the discount you wish to restore.
- Check that the settings of the discount are correct and modify if necessary.
- Click Restore Discount.
The discount will display on your website (if set up to show on the website) momentarily and will be applied to new registrations or orders which meet the discount's criteria.
Arlo allows you to permanently delete a discount so that it cannot be restored in the future.
- Open the Discounts menu item.
- Open the view that contains the discount you wish to permanently delete.
- Select the discount you want to delete.
- From the Actions box, press Delete.
- The discount will be removed from the website pricing (momentarily, depending on your website integration) and will no longer be applied to any orders created in the future.
With Arlo, administrators can manually apply discounts to orders that they are creating from within the management platform.
