Arlo allows you to schedule favourite reports to be automatically sent on a regular basis to any email addresses, saving you time and ensuring the right people have the information they need. You can also choose whether you would like to send your scheduled reports securely.
Reports can be scheduled once they have been saved as a favourite.
Be careful when using specific date ranges in scheduled reports as these won't change automatically.
- Open the Reports menu item.
- From the Favourite Reports menu, open the report you wish to schedule.
- From the toolbar, press Schedule Report.
- Enter the desired recipients and schedule.
Scheduled recipients must be separated using a semicolon (;).
- Choose whether to send the report securely or insecurely. If sending securely, enter the password and any file instructions.
- Press Schedule Report.

You can schedule your advanced reports once they have been saved as a favourite.
- Open the Reports menu item.
- From the Favourite Reports menu, open the report you wish to schedule.
- Press Schedule.
- Enter the desired recipients and schedule.

- Press Schedule Report.

You can edit the recipients and other schedule details without having to delete and recreate the scheduled report.
- Open the Reports menu item.
- From the list of scheduled reports, hover your mouse over the scheduled report you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Press Save changes.
You may need to edit the content or other settings of a scheduled report. This is a two-part process:
Step 1: Edit the report settings
- Open the favourite report.
- Make the required changes to the report.
- Press Edit favourite.
- Press Save changes.
Step 2: Force the scheduled report to use the new report settings
Only changing the details (settings) of the favourite report will not update the settings of the scheduled report. You need to force a change in the schedule by editing the schedule details.
- Open the Reports menu.
- From the list of scheduled reports, hover your mouse over the scheduled report you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make a small change to the schedule, e.g. change the time by one minute.
You can change this back again after saving your changes.
- Press Save changes.
- If you have changed the schedule to force a change, follow this process again to change the schedule back to the required time.
If a scheduled report is no longer needed, you can delete it to stop it from sending.
- Open the Reports menu item.
- From the list of scheduled reports, hover your mouse over the scheduled report you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Press Delete.
- Press Delete Scheduled Report.
You can schedule a course registrant report or attendance register for a course to be sent automatically to presenters a certain number of days or hours before an course starts.
Before you schedule these reports, you should ensure they have all the information you require by saving the report settings as default.
- When you reach the Communication tab, click Activate to schedule any automated reports to be sent to presenters.
- Enable the report and select when it should be sent. If you would like the report to be turned on for other courses using the course template and future courses, select Update template and existing future courses.
- Press OK.
- Save the course.
